Natasha Mmonatau is a writer and editor with a passion for elegant, powerful storytelling. Her work has been published by Grist, the Eastbay Express, and Stanford University’s Bill Lane Center for the American West. She has worked as a freelance writer since 2014, when she covered the music and arts of the African diaspora for Afropop and OkayAfrica. She graduated with her M.A. in Earth Systems & Communications from Stanford in 2018, and subsequently moved to Puerto Rico. She currently creates content for Based, an online platform in Puerto Rico devoted to highlighting the island's growing entrepreneurial ecosystem, and works as an independent voiceover artist for wikiHow.
